OH MY STARS!  My son and his girlfriend ordered pizza and when the guy came to the door I made Gino sit and the pizza guy said “That’s a good dog!  Most places I go the dogs don’t listen”  and my son told him that he just came home from training.  I was also walking Gino last night and the dog he reacted to when you came to our house was walking too and although we were about 20 ft away, Gino stayed calm and by my side and it was the OTHER dog that started barking and trying to wiggle away from her owner.  I was SOOOO excited!   You guys are tremendous and I will sing your praises to everyone who will listen.  I am going to try to make it to the Sunday event.  Loved the pictures!  You could see his tail get lower with each shot and then finally laying next to the other dogs.   Love you all SOOO MUCH!!!!!!

Casey, as I shared with you earlier, when a friend mentioned that she had noticed your Team Dog truck in our area, I immediately went to your website and contacted you. My husband and I were at our wits-end with our big boy, Buster…a 3 year old, 110 lb rescue boxer mix we adopted 16 months earlier. We’ve always had dogs in our family, but never one this large or strong. His fear issues caused from his suspected earlier mistreatment and neglect manifested in frightful aggression and dominant behavior…especially toward men. Frankly, since he joined our family, it seemed we constantly lived in fear of how he would react to anyone who came into our home.  Would he be the big teddy bear he was with us or would he aggressively protect us against ”those strangers” at any cost or deed? We never knew; and because we strive to be responsible and accountable pet owners, that unpredictable behavior was very disconcerting and emotionally taxing…day after day. We had previously worked with a couple of trainers, but nothing seemed to be a permanent or consistent fix…for Buster or us!

Casey to the rescue! We signed up for the ultimate 2 week boot camp in your home…just praying that you wouldn’t call us the day after his arrival to advise that he was a hopeless case!  Much to our delight, you reported throughout the training that he was not only doing well but thriving!  He has been home two weeks now and we continue to work with him as you instructed. My husband just keeps gleefully commenting, “he’s a different dog!” His overall demeanor is simply more relaxed and trusting. He responds well to all his commands and understands he does not have to be in charge of us…or the rest of his world!  He’s even more handsome without that worried/ furrowed brow he always had before. While we recognize the training is not magically over when our pups leave your camp, we do understand that they return to us well-trained and with clear comprehension of what is expected of them. It’s then the responsibility of we sometimes, harder to train, humans to consistently and properly ”lead” our canine friends!!

We sincerely thank you for all your time and expertise in giving our big boy a new beginning. We are committed to continue to build on his Team Dog success!

Thanks also to Shelly and your daughter, Megan for their patient and caring assist during his stay.

WOW !!!!!!!!

 CASEY,

I AM STILL NOT SURE YOU GAVE ME THE RIGHT DOG BACK.  I AM JUST TOTALLY AMAZED.  TYLER IS SO DIFFERENT…I WENT OUT THIS MORNING AND WORKED WITH HIM AND HE DID EVERYTHING.  I ACTUALLY GOT OUT THE DOORS FIRST.  HE ACTS LIKE HE LOOKS AT ME FOR CUES.  I KINDA MIXED THINGS UP SO IT IS NOT JUST A PATTEREN.  AFTER I WAS DONE WORKING WITH HIM I LET THE LEASH OUT WERE HE COULD JUST ROME AROUND.

I KEEP MY THUMB IN MY POCKET AS YOU SAID AND THAT WENT WELL.  I HAVE NOT HAD TO HANG ON FOR DEAR LIFE.(YET).  THIS MORNING WE JUST WALKED AROUND THE YARD AND I WAS NOT SO TENSE.

BEFORE THE TRAINING MY SON WOULD GET UP AND IT WAS JUST BARK BARK BARK AND HE WOULD JUST PRANCE.  THIS MORNING BILLY GETS UP HE BARKED I SAID QUIET AND THAT WAS IT.  BILLY ACTUALLY GOT TO PET HIM.

I AM TOTALLY HAPPY WITH WHAT YOU HAVE DONE.  I DID NOT THINK IT WAS POSSIBLE.  THANK YOU SO MUCH!

 AGAIN THANK YOU

GARY,REGINA AND OF COURSE TYLER

Casey & Shelly! THANK YOU!
Oh, my gosh! I can’t believe the difference in Dixie (my Foster Puppy, gone bad!) I know that I told you, I have had a lot of dogs…. Rotts, Dobes, Shepherds.. all large dogs. I had never had a dog that I could NOT train before this Malamute/Shepherd mix. You only had her ONE WEEK and accomplished everything (AND MORE!) that I have been trying to work on since I got her, four months ago! The biggest surprise!!!! She actually listens and obeys my commands… Before, she listened, but then went the other way. Her hearing only worked if I had a treat in my hand!

We just went for our walk around the neighborhood and for the first time, I wasn’t exhausted when we got back… she was! We also did the sit/stay practice out in the circle and with the distractions of my little Tabby, Homer, she just sat there until I released her. I can’t believe it!

She is tired, happy and laying at my feet!

WE will be at all of the Out & About events we can make, so we can keep up the training!

I cannot say it enough… Thank you, again! This has been the best investment I have ever made for my dog! (and… for ME!)

Absolutely and sincerely!

Connie and I walked around Old Town St. Charles Saturday after class. She was perfectly behaved. I am really proud of how she has developed. Thanks for doing such a good job training her.

CASEY,

JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW WE ARE VERY EXCITED ABOUT STARTING TRAINING. We WERE REALLY AMAZED LAST WEEKEND WATCHING THE DOGS in your class AT JEFFERSON BARRACKS PARK. PEOPLE WERE TELLING US HOW THEIR DOGS WERE ACTING UNTIL THEY CAME TO YOU……AND TO SEE THEM LAST WEEKEND, THEY WERE ALL WELL BEHAVED AND HAVING A LOT OF FUN…..I FINALLY HAVE HOPE FOR OUR DOG TYLER.

Boone went to Kennelwood’s day training for a week when he was a year old, so he knew the basic commands, but only listened when he felt like it. Kennelwood does the pinch collar training, so unless I had a leash and collar on him it was hard to get and keep his attention. He was also a nightmare to walk – way to much strength and energy – I could barely control him even with the pinch collar. If he got away from me, he would run off and not come back….typical husky. He was also aggressive to other dogs on walks, at the dog park, etc.

Casey came out to do a demo with Boone before we committed, so I had the chance to see what just 15 minutes could do. When I picked Boone up after the 2 weeks, he was completely off-leash trained with all the bad behavior issues under control. I can walk him with or without a leash and he stays right by my side, he comes and stays on command even at places like the dog park where there are tons of distractions, and the aggression issues have disappeared…..he loves all dogs and people now. Casey came out to our house a few days after we got Boone home and spent several hours “training” us.

Casey is always available via phone or will meet us at the park for on-going training and he does “out and about” days for dogs and people who have been through the training…..it’s a good chance to work on reinforcing the training both for us and Boone.

Thank you! We are having so much fun with our well behaved dog! THANKS SO MUCH! I actually enjoy taking her out to go to the bathroom now!
Thanks!

My wife and I got a boxer puppy and for a year and a half we tried our best to raise him right…fed him good food, loved him and took him to obedience training. The problem in my opinion in traditional obedience training is “treat” motivation means you have to have a pocket full of treats all the time. However when our dog has something on his mind like another dog…treats don’t do anything. Although the basic commands are similar and necessary you must take the next step. Namely TEAM DOG!
Team Dog’s procedure lets you communicate on the dog’s level, no matter where you are, no matter the distractions since the stimulation can be increased as needed…even at a distance.
Our dog knows exactly what we want.
Thanks Casey and family and Team Dog!

Sincerely,
Bo and Daisy Matthews

Our dog Jasper, a high energy, lab-border collie mix, was a terror before we contacted Team Dog and enlisted the help of Casey Ray. Jasper jumped our fence, played aggressively with my husband and I, and had gotten so bad he was biting me on our walks whenever he saw another dog. We tried walking him with a Halti and a choke chain, but nothing slowed him down. We finally contacted Casey after he had bit me twice and got free from the tie-out and attacked a small neighbor dog. When we got the vet bill, we decided we had had enough. Our families told us we needed to get rid of him but we knew he wouldn’t be adopted b/c of his aggression and energy level. We also had grown attached to him and he was a great indoor dog, with the exception of attacking the windows when a dog passed by.
We had never owned “bad dogs” before and we felt like we had no control over our dog. He was getting 3 walks a day but it wasn’t helping.

When we first met with Casey we were hesitant about using the Dogtra collar. We had never used anything like the collar before and we were nervous that it was harmful or that Jasper wouldn’t respond to the training.

We decided to send him away to “boot camp” with Casey for 1 week. Our dog is so smart and stubborn that we knew a couple hours once a week wasn’t going to give us results.
After one week with Casey and Shelly, Jasper came back to us happier and calmer. Casey taught us how to use the collar and trained my husband and I aggressively with us and he actually listens to us. He no longer attacks the front window and WE are now in charge, not him.
We are at the point now that we don’t have to correct him as much on his walks, and he is a sweetie. I went from strongly disliking our dog to being proud of having such a well-trained pet.
My husband and I talk sometimes about how much Casey changed our lives. Jasper is now happier and he gets longer walks now since he doesn’t try to hurt us or pull. We recently took him to a softball game and to a parade. He is great in the car and because he is calmer, he gets to have the attention of kids more (he loves kids).
We cannot thank Team Dog enough, I don’t know what we would have done if we hadn’t sent Jasper there when we did–We strongly recommend using Team Dog for all of your training needs. If Casey can “fix” our dog, he can fix any dog.

I have an American Bulldog that quite honestly I thought was too dumb to train. When I let him out he would bolt and not listen to me. I knew if I didn’t do something soon he would end up attacking another dog or worse he could get hit by a car. I have tried many different trainers for other dogs I have had and none of them worked! I saw Casey’s ad and money back guarantee and thought what the heck. In our first meeting I even told him be prepared to give me my money back. I took my dog to Casey and by the time his training was done he was a different dog. I had many misconceptions about E-Collar training but looking back there is not a safer more humane way to train a dog. My dog gets excited to put his collar on! By having my dog trained it enabled me to bond with him and everywhere I go I have people giving me complements on how well behaved my dog is. You can’t put a price on the bond that me and my dog now have.

Thanks again Casey,

I own 3 dogs, each of which I thought were well-behaved. Well-behaved by my standards, meaning always being on a leash and listening most of the time. My standards changed when I met Casey Ray of Team Dog! Casey is helping with my 7 year old dog that had started showing aggression along with constant barking at neighbors and every miscellaneous noise following our recent relocation. After one session and a few at-home workouts on my own, Liberty is calmer, quickly responding to commands-no matter what the distraction, and barking much less. I can only imagine what the end result will be. Thanks, Casey!
Casey of Team Dog! STL has made multiple dog ownership a pleasure again! I was beginning to doubt my decision of having more than one dog, regardless of how much I love them. Having three large dogs all on leashes pulling and jumping in different directions while I tried to get my son out of his car seat and hold onto him was a disaster. Going hiking with all 3 dogs, taking them to the lake or even to the vet was a dreaded event. I am so excited to know that I can have well-behaved, off-leash reliable dogs regardless of the situation or distraction. I look at my dogs with a new and encouraging perspective and there are no limits to where we can go. Thank you so much, Casey.

Casey’s understanding and ability to work with many dogs and owners was evident when I attended his group training class with my then young puppy. I saw him work with both small and large dogs and meek and strong willed dogs with all different types of owners. All who learned in a very short time to obey (Casey) and their owners. He was never “overzealous” with his corrections. And he never spoke down to the owners. His calm and clear commands were all that was needed. I went on to take private training lessons with Casey to learn to use the remote training collar with my strong willed pointer lab mix, Molly. This tool and his guidance have provided a wonderful safe way for she and I to enjoy our outdoor walks, bike rides and play with other dogs daily.

My husband and I adopted a 9 month old puppy last October. Amali is a high spirited, high energy and happy-go-lucky Rhodesian Ridgeback. She was an owner surrender, to which I certainly understood once we got her home and the “true” Amali came forward. The sad part is Amali’s previous owners provided excellent care for their dog except for one very most important thing….. Obedience. There just was none. I began working with her, but progress just was not moving forward as I had hoped and planned. I found myself becoming frustrated; it began to create issues as home, etc.
I found Casey (Team Dog) through an acquaintance who belongs to the same dog park that we do. I sent an inquiry to, and met with Casey, and before I even left from our meeting, I knew that Casey and his training methods would be the answer to my prayers… that being able to bring Amali under “our” control; and to let her know that –we the humans – are the pack leaders.
I signed Amali up for a “board and train” program. I felt that the board and train would be the most beneficial and expedient method to bring Amali under control. After all, she was nearing 10 months and 80 pounds. One of my main goals was to be able to walk both dogs together; under my control and without incident.
Two weeks seemed like a life time, but when Amali came back home, she was a completely different dog. She was still “Amali”, but she was this wonderfully obedient puppy. I knew immediately in my heart that I had made the right & the best decision; not only for her, but for our entire family, including her sister Zari.
I can now walk both of my girls together (that’s 170 pounds of dogs) with confidence. Just a couple of weeks ago, I sent an e-mail to Casey to brag about our walk to the park. I was walking both girls, and we passed two other people walking their large breed dogs. Both of these owners moved from the walk path, and had all they could do to keep their dog under control as my girls continued to walk by without incident. Without Casey’s training, Amali would have been just as out of control and bouncing all over. What I have learned from Casey with Amali’s training enables me to also work with Zari. I try to work with Amali & Zari on a daily basis, however there are some days that we don’t. However, it does not mean that they just forget. Don’t get me wrong.. Amali is a pup and occasionally she will try to test… but remembers very quickly who her pack leader is.
In closing, I can only say that I highly recommend Casey for training. The reward of an obedient dog is truly worth the cost of any training. It’s not only about “obedience”, but also about “control for the safety” of both you and your pet.

Casey, I wanted to thank you for your time and patience with both myself and Autumn. I feel that the training was really worth it.

Casey,
Thank you so much for your patience and professionalism while helping train my golden retriever puppy, McGee, and more importantly, myself. I truly appreciate the knowledge and respect you showed us. After finishing an 8 week group course at Petsmart and working with him daily, he did not seem to be much better than when we started. After only one lesson with you, I could already see a huge difference. I will definitely recommend you to others and want to thank you again for all your assistance. We will miss you and Ezra.

Casey, We would like to thank you for your expertise in dog training. Our German Shorthaired Pointer, Fawkes, is a totally new and improved dog. We would have never imagined Fawkes obeying off leash in such a short period of time. We are now confident that Fawkes will be an excellent hunting dog for many years to come. You are a very professional and knowledgeable dog trainer. We have and will recommend you to anyone interested in professional dog training. Thank you again!

Josh, Amanda & Fawkes Coggins

I want to thank you, Casey, for all the help you’ve given Sammi and I. Although Sammi knew basic commands she would only listen if she was in the mood, or there were treats involved. Learning ways to stay consistent in dealing with Sammi has made my life so very much easier. After the very first lesson, I knew I had made the right decision. She is the same sweet loving dog but BETTER! I have a lot more fun with her now since I have no reason to get frustrated and cut a walk or outing short. Thanks again,

Gina Krieger

Maisey is the most intelligent and most hyperactive dog my wife and I had ever seen. We attempted training her ourselves. We also tried the training program at Petsmart. Unfortunately, we just were not getting it. Deb found an ad for this training. We called and after talking to Casey we enrolled Maisey in the residency training program.
The first time I saw Maisey with Casey after the training, I couldn’t believe she was our dog. She was perfect with Casey. Next, Casey began showing me how to work with Maisey. The transformation not only worked with Casey, she was great with me too. Then he did the same with Deb. It was amazing! When we wanted her to behave she did. When we let her relax, she was still the same playful Maisey we loved so much!

Rich Copeland & Deb Lafferty

Our puppy seemed very incorrigible and hyper and wouldn’t listen to our commands so we were at wit’s end. We felt that she needed the residential program and Casey did not let us down. He is a very knowledgeable, professional trainer and spelled out exactly what our dog needed. He worked great with Roxie to get her to settle down and listen to commands. The training was worth every penny and I highly recommend Casey’s services.

Casey has a golden touch with animals. I was really pleased with the training Nick and I got from him. He not only trains your dog but trains you too. Thanks again Casey,

Arizona, our Siberian Husky “Snow Dog” came into our life in January 2004. A more beautiful puppy you can’t imagine. Loving, playful, and active, she’s brought an immense amount of joy into our lives. However, Huskies are very smart, excellent escape artists, full of energy and downright stubborn at times. So, when she reached 6 months of age, it was time for some serious, professional training for her (and us!). That’s when we met Casey.
At our first meeting, Casey explained his training philosophy, immediately formed a bond with Arizona and we were off training. It was amazing how quickly Arizona responded. By the end of the first lesson she was walking at the “heel” with “sit” upon stop. Plus, Casey worked with us, explaining the training process and ensuring we could properly work with Arizona between lessons.
Casey is an excellent, professional trainer who has an obvious love for dogs and knows how to train them and educate their owners, an area too often neglected in my previous experience with group training programs. Individual attention to your dog and its personality is the key in my opinion. You get that with Casey. If you love your dog and want to enhance the joy of the human-dog relationship, Casey’s the trainer you should see.

It’s amazing what can be done when you learn the proper way to do it! I’m now teaching my wife what you taught Sugar and me, and Sugar is responding to her as well. Again, thanks for all your help!

Jason Robertson

I wanted to start by saying thank you for all you have taught us through obedience training. Not only has it helped our dog (Riley), it has helped us learn how to manage such a big animal in our home. You have shown the utmost respect and patience dealing with us through this process. Riley has been trained in a very safe, clean facility as well as shown a great deal of respect from you as his trainer. It would be very difficult to have him in our home without your training. You have treated us not only as clients, but as friends. Thank you for this experience. Sincerely,

Jason & Heather Klein

I’m not sure I can verbalize how much you have helped Basta and I. His behavior on and off the leash, is improving daily with the techniques that you have taught us and I highly recommend you to everyone I come in contact with. The one-on-one attention with private lessons is great. The patience and personal interest you have shown with Basta-and his relations with my other dogs-have paid great dividends that have resulted in marked improvements in his temperament and behavior. You’ve definitely improved our family dynamics and made Basta the fun little man he is supposed to be. I can’t thank you enough and best wishes for continued success,
