Meet The Staff- Casey Ray & Team Dog’s Ezra

I have been a dog enthusiast for well over 10 years now. I’ve had the opportunity to participate in many aspects of the dog world and have learned a ton from all of them. From the days of traveling the country to enter a dog in a show, to staying up all night waiting for a litter to whelp, to building my first training facility on our property, I’ve been blessed to have learned so much and there’s no better satisfaction than passing that on to someone in need. I am currently the Owner/Training Director at Team Dog! St. Louis and enjoy helping clients get back on track with their four legged friend. Team Dog! STL is based in St. Charles, MO. and serves the entire greater metro St. Louis area. Our results are second to none and have drawn the attention of the local media. I’ve had the opportunity to discuss Team Dog’s training philosophy on Fox 2’s Morning Show, the Monica Adam’s Health & Fitness Show on KMOX, the Craig Cornett Morning Show on 93.7 The Bull and with Bo Matthews, DJ for WIL 92.3 FM.   I have testified under oath on canine behavior and training and I’m responsible for implementing dog training programs at local kennels.  I also enjoy writing articles for local dog related newsletters hoping to educate as many people who are willing to read it!

My right hand man and personal demo dog is a 3 1/2 year old Belgian Malinois named Ezra, who I carefully chose from a kennel in Oklahoma upon coming to live with the Ray family at a ripe young age of 7 weeks.  By the age of 4 months, he knew all the basics and had the ball drive of a lunatic!  By 6 months of age he was completely off leash trained but lacked a little bit of confidence.  I began working on confidence drills with agility & utility equipment and by his 1st birthday, he was the confident, ball driven, obedient dog who loved to put on a show for onlookers.  Ever since then, he’s been a pleasure to work with as him and I know what we’re each thinking and makes it very easy for me to teach him new advanced commands and tricks.  Everyone’s favorite is the “center” command that I came up with where he places himself between my legs.  It is the most asked about command and can be seen on any of our videos that feature Ezra.  Away from putting on demo’s with Ezra, I enjoy working him in scent detection and personal protection.

He lives to please me and I owe it to him to give him the life he deserves! He’s a once in a lifetime dog and I enjoy every minute we spend together.  There’s something about a bond between a man and dog that you just can’t get anywhere!  I do my best to help my clients reach their dog’s full potential so they too, can enjoy that very same bond, without the stress that often comes along with it!

Good luck in your canine adventures and happy training!
