Zach came into our lives when he was just 7 weeks old. He was the cutest, not to mention the biggest one of the litter. We fell in love with our little golden lab puppy as soon as we laid eyes on him. Little did we know that Zach would decide that he would run the household. For the first 3-4 months we didn’t really have any problems with him. We thought his playful biting was funny at first until his lip wrinkled up and he growled at us. Our backyard was slowly turning into an 18-hole golf course. He refused to listen to the word “no” and became even more defiant when we corrected him. He ran our household. He thought he was the alpha male of the house. We tried everything else and nothing seemed to work. Maryann and Brice came to our rescue! The training that Zach received from them was great. He spent a full week at their home for the training. He learned so many new commands and came home a different dog. Even our vet couldn’t believe how good his behavior was when we took him in for a wellness check. Zach was well behaved this Halloween when 170 Trick or Treaters rang our doorbell. He ran to the door and sat down on command and stared at the different costumes. Unbelievable!!!Maryann and Brice made follow up visits to our house for the next few weeks which were very helpful in the continuation and repetition of Zach’s learning process. It has been a couple months now since we have finished the training…he is 7 months old now. Zach is such a good dog now and is so loveable. He listens to us and it is enjoyable to take him for a walk when he heals so well. Team Dog! was not only knowledgeable but very professional and truly care about their work and making your dog’s training successful. Thanks Maryann and Brice!! We would strongly recommend Team Dog! to anyone that has any kind of behavioral problems with their dog.

This is the letter we received from Zach when he was gone to puppy camp.
Hi Guys,
Well I made it back from Camp in one piece, after Mom and Dad sent me off there for a week to learn how to behave. I didn’t think I was bad at all. I had to live with 3 other dogs but it wasn’t so bad. The other people were nice and they did feed me while I was there too.
I did learn a bunch of new things like:sit, stay, off, place, heal, break, come, quiet, kennel, wait, drop-it, down
I am such a good puppy now. I weigh about 50 pounds now. I don’t put my big feet on Mom’s counter anymore. I quit biting Dad’s nose too. My puppy teeth are sharp ya know. I used to love to steal Mom’s hand towel in the guest bathroom but I leave that alone now too. I quit making Dad’s backyard into a golf course too. I was up to about 7 holes before I went off to camp for a week. I don’t dig any holes anymore. I also am good when I go for a walk. I don’t try to bite the leash and lay down anymore. Even though they sent me off to camp I still love them and give them kisses every day.
Love ,

Due to some family changes, FROSTY, who grew up being an outside rural dog, was brought to the city and instantly became a “City Dog”. Needless to say, the transition was not an easy one for FROSTY or the rest of the family. Basically, while a smart dog, he was unruly, head-strong, failed to listen to basic commands, and had a “potty problem” in his new city environment. FROSTY was “out of control” and thought was given to possibly putting him up for adoption to a new home in a more rural environment if he could not be trained. After researching several training companies, we decided to have a discussion and interview with Brice and Maryann. Little did Brice know, but this interview process would take a little over 5 hours. I wanted to be sure that my daughter’s dog was getting the best training, with a responsible trainer. The training needed to work for the sanity of everyone involved.
The same evening, after watching Brice work with FROSTY and showcase his own dog, FROSTY was loaded into Brice’s Suburban, and off they went. I felt sorry for Brice and Maryann as I truly thought they had their hands full with FROSTY. I resigned myself to the fact that if FROSTY came back a quarter as well behaved and trained as Brice’s own dog, I would be satisfied and happy. 2 weeks later, Brice and Maryann scheduled a training session for our family. They brought FROSTY home, and the human training began. Again, close to 5 hours later, we were trained in all 10 basic commands, as well as the proper way to walk with FROSTY.
What a miracle!! FROSTY listens to our commands, enjoys our walks together, and has become the pet we hoped we could have in the city. The training of FROSTY exceeded our expectations. We have enjoyed continuing our training with him and the results speak for themselves. He is still his loveable self, but now well-behaved. Brice and Maryann admitted that FROSTY was, shall we say – head-strong, but ultimately he became one of their favorite graduates. I cannot stress enough the importance of finding the right trainer not only for the dog, but the owner. I highly recommend Brice and Maryann for your dog & people training needs. FROSTY enjoys his visits with Brice and Maryann who have now become good friends! Good Luck and Keep the Faith!!!

“We were at the end of our patience with our 3 dogs – 2 male Australian Shepherds (ages 6 & 8) and our 4 year old female basset. The males were fighting and each had their own behavioral issues – one completely food obsessed and somewhat aggressive and the other jumping up on people and just not listening or behaving. The basset was afraid of everything and stubborn. After their training they were completely different – very well behaved and a pleasure to be around! It has totally changed our life and our household. Everyone actually enjoys being around them now. I highly recommend Brice and his training methods!”

“I have to admit…you did in 5 minutes what I have not been able to do with my dog in 9 months!”

“Your ability to teach me as the owner, let alone what you did for Pepsi, was nothing short of a miracle. I had tried so many other methods and programs, and none of them had the lasting effects, or brought the joy to us like the approach that you teach. I find myself telling all that ask that I am a part of Team Dog! Thank you for the sanity!
