There are a lot of opportunities here for dog owners to help their furry friends get the most out of life, but we tend to be our dog’s worst enemy as well. Lack of exercise, mental stimulation and social activities is usually a prescription for canine problems, which is where Team Dog! comes in. We can help you to learn how dogs process information, what their needs are, and how we can help to bring balance back in to their lives, which of course builds a fulfilling relationship with you! When looking for dog training information, tips and resources, look no further! Dog training should be fun! Dog training should be easy! Dog training shouldn’t really feel like…dog training! We are here to help you get the most out of your relationship with your dog. Put structure, exercise and NATURAL principles of training into a rewarding relationship. Team Dog! offers group classes, training in your home and extensive “doggy camp” training packages. Our goal is to help you to learn just how influential you are to your dog’s development, and empower you with the knowledge, tools and confidence to really get the most out of your dog!
We do not rely on any one method of training, as we believe that with dogs being as unique as they are, that we can best serve them and their owners by being able to use any method/tools in a safe, humane way. Getting dogs to be more cognitive than reactive is one of the cornerstones to our approach, and is essential when trying to develop a two-way system of communication!
We offer a free initial phone consultation to learn about you and your dog and what your goals are for taking your relationship top the next level. Many times we will come out to your home to observe what we learned on our phone conversation, and present to you the many different training packages that we offer.
For those that are not in the Chicago or St Louis metropolitan areas, we can still help! We currently offer phone consultations and will soon be offering our video training series that can help lay the foundation for your training. We also offer a free eBook for housebreaking, with our training eBook in the works! Check out our store, as we are adding convenient items there on a regular basis, from cool clothing to leashes, videos, training aids and information!
